My recent visit to Stal Gallery was a beautiful and inspiring experience. The space is elegant, well-organized, and instantly creates a sense of calm. The artworks are captivating, drawing you into moments of reflection and contemplation, especially knowing they are created by talented Omani artists. What truly stood out was the diversity of styles and artistic expressions, making the gallery welcoming and enjoyable for all age groups. I was particularly impressed by Anwar Sonia’s creative use of colors, Juma Al Harthi’s remarkable work inspired by Omani heritage, and I deeply admired all of Salim Sakhi’s artworks, along with many other talented artists.
I visited the gallery during Oman Air’s history exhibition. The gallery is a very nice minimalist modern house building viewed from outside. Inside, it’s perfect for the exhibition, just the right size. It has very comfortable room temperature. I can see the lighting is flexible depending on the preference of the exhibitor. Upstairs is like an attic room for additional viewing area.
Stal Gallery is a standout in Muscat's art scene, offering thoughtfully curated contemporary exhibitions that highlight local and international talent. The inviting ambiance and knowledgeable staff enhance the experience, making it a must-visit for art enthusiasts. Highly recommended!
A great space for contemporary art and exposure to young artists in Oman. It was a pleasure to exhibit and work alongside many talented artists!
It is a lovely modern space with Omani modern art. I really liked the choice of presented artists and the short chat with the gallerist.
